Creative Work
Weekly Challenge

START (OR FINISH) YOUR CREATIVE PROJECTS THIS WEEK!

Have you been procrastinating on beginning or accomplishing creative projects? When you do work hard do you find yourself burning out quickly?

This challenge gives you simple steps on how to start taking action on your ideas while leaving time for rest.

Influential Books

I can never resist recommending a great book, specially when it has altered my mind for the better and helped me lead a more joyful life. These are the ones I most frequently recommend:

You are a Badass by Jen Sincero

While reading Y.A.A.B I felt incredibly driven towards accomplishing my goals. Sincero is funny, sincere and uplifting. She breaks down some helpful spiritual concepts, such as the Law of Attraction in a clear and engaging way and gives both pragmatic and spiritual advice for creating your dream life.

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

Tolle helped me understand the insanity of the mind, and gave me an understanding of how living in the present moment is crucial for our wellness and happiness. I've read this book about five times and always gain deeper knowledge from it.

Journey of Souls by Dr. Michael Newton

This one is for the open-minded. In this book, Dr. Newton describes the experiences that souls have after death and in between lives, as described by patients under hypnosis. It's a magical read that gave me a greater perspective on life and the purpose of it.

Your Illustrated Guide to Becoming One with the Universe by Yumi Sakugawa

This precious book came into my life at the perfect time. It is such a unique self-help book because it combines  beautifully corky illustrations and compassionate wisdom. Sakugawa managed to reach the inner-child in me and inspired my own creativity through this work.

Podcasts that Motivate & Inspire

These podcasts have become a cherished part of my daily routine. They keep me inspired and motivated to continue chasing my dreams, growing my business, and designing a life I love.

From left to right:

Jess Lively (The Lively Show) guides me towards "going beyond the mind" and looking inwards in the face of any problem or decision. Angie Lee (The Angie Lee Show) shares valuable knowledge on growing a coaching business in such an energizing way. Cara Alwill Leyba (Style Your Mind Podcast) has an intoxicating, ambitious girl-power attitude that makes me feel like anything is possible, while Sahara Rose (The Highest Self Podcast) offers amazing spiritual and wellness wisdom.

Favorite Youtube Channels

The Quietest Revolution:

Amber Khan is an astrologer and tarot-card reader who does monthly readings for each zodiac sign. Her readings are incredibly smart, and offer a lot to ponder. I think tarot is a great tool to help us inquire about our choices, relationships and dreams.

Zoey Arielle:

Zoe has been such an inspiration to me. She's a digital-nomad living in Rome, a minimalist and a downright positive person who shares golden nuggets of inspiration on a regular basis. Seeing her make her dreams come true has been a great example that I can (and you can) do it too!

Lion's Mane Mushroom Elixir:

Throughout my life I've had trouble concentrating. When I was seventeen I was diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed medication, which I later ditched since I didn't feel like myself on it. For the past few months, I have been incorporating this mushroom elixir in my diet and I definitely feel a difference in my ability to focus and get things done. I love that this product is both natural and nutritious, and couldn't recommend it more.
